The State budget crisis has made the past couple of years the most challenging since beginning my service on the Board of Education. We are currenly preparing ourselves for the challenges yet to come. Much work needs to be done, but we also have cause to celebrate.
  · 95.5% daily attendance for K-12 students;
  · 91% graduation rate;
  · Improved school facilities with state of the art technology;
  · A balanced budget and maintaining financial stability; and much more.

I am running for re-election to serve a third term on the Board of Education because now more than ever our school district needs experienced proven leaders. I was first elected in 2001 and currently serve as President of the Board.
